The issues with this are that the police generally have a preconceived idea that anyone they pull over is drunk. So your nervous speech is “slurred,” your tired eyes are “glassy and bloodshot,” and your normal complexion is “flushed.” So, there’s no standard way to measure this, and we can get the police to admit that in court.
